These pieces are, once again, not necessarily done through traditional or digital mediums. These pieces are perhaps my most striking, but also my most scarce, since I devote most of my time to my story-based works, and the pieces shown here are without doubt my most chaotic: much like Rose's story, they simply 'came together' without a plan.

This is possibly the weirdest thing I've made, but I am proud of it. It's a rather totem-like sculpture of Rose, which is currently hanging on the wall in my school's Art department.

I hadn't really used sculpture before this, and I dare say you can see why: there's no real solidity to it, and the most solid thing about it is the mannequin head that hangs in a circle of twigs. Originally, I stuck the white fabric to the twigs because I wanted to make a tattered wedding veil, but then I hung it on the wall and saw it looked a bit like a ghost. I put a face in the centre to see if it could still look like a veil, and suddenly I had a broken person looking back at me. I stuck it in place, and then went about sticking false white roses inside it. After that, I poured hot red wax over it, and then, thanks to my Art teacher, it had PVA glue and black ink poured over it. The final step was done by attaching pieces of styrofoam, on which I had drawn snapshots of Rose's story, to her head. The pictures can be seen in detail in the 'Traditional' section of my portfolio.

Personally, if I was going to go full art critic, I would say the piece is effectively a perfect representation of Rose herself: there is no body, because Rose disregards the importance of physical beauty. There is a face, because Rose is still human, but the face is broken, showing she is somewhat broken herself. The roses blooming from inside her face show beauty emerging from inside, not out, and show that instead of Rose being damaged, she has instead broken out from her human restriction. The twigs that crown her head give an almost Christ-like appearance, which is exaggerated by the halo of pictures; exemplifying her deity-like status.

However, in reality, the piece is a perfect depiction of Rose because it had no plan: one thing led to another with no real aim in sight until the thing came together. I cannot say that I had this piece in mind because I didn't: it's a happy accident that its characteristics match the characteristics of Rose's story. I can, however, say that Rose has successfully terrified a number of young students who stayed late at school: her reign of terror has at last begun.
